Keep Guard Day Nursery and Pre-School

Within the Pre-School we believe play is the major learning process, through which children extend and acquire new knowledge. Our playrooms allow the children to be independent learners and make choices to enhance their development and consolidate their learning.

The rooms encourage children to explore sand and water play, role-play, cookery, art and craft, woodwork, mark making, mathematical concepts, construction, threading, board games, musical instruments, ICT, books, story sacks and singing.

One of the main roles within Pre-School is to ensure children become ‘school ready’.

Parent Reviews:

Sarah says - 'Great nursery! My daughter has been going here for the last 8 months, and there isn't anything I'd change :) The staff are well trained, very caring, help the kids learn as well as play, it provides lovely snacks and lunches (included in funded places), there's a lovely outdoor area too, and a separate party room indoor play area for when it's raining. I can't rate it highly enough! (And I've seen a lot of nurseries!)'

Claire says - 'My children have been to this nursery since they were 12 weeks old and the standard of care and attention that they receive is amazing. The management are fantastic and quick to react to any concerns or suggestions that you have. The staff are well qualified and extremely good with the children. I would recommend it to anyone'.
